Monroe, GA- Today we received - for the first time in a long time - positive news about the office of U.S. Attorney General. Eric Holder has decided to resign.
Under his reign, the Department of Justice has become a disservice to the American people. Holder’s blatant disregard for Congressional authority has led to multiple blunders and missteps for the DOJ. Holder and his DOJ's incompetence have taken many forms, from his refusal to defend laws on the books, like the Defense of Marriage Act, or his mishandling of the Fast and Furious operation that led to the death of U.S. Border Patrol Officer, Brian Terry. It is long past time that he step down so that justice may once again be served.
It is my hope that with a new Attorney General, the Department of Justice will be able to defend and procure actual justice and safety for the people of the United States.
